Responsibilities
- Cook individual and small-group coaching with PreK Guides, demonstrating techniques and recognizing concrete improvements
- Create and lead play-based learning sessions integrating SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, setting the standard for team execution
- Assess and calibrate Guide observations on a weekly basis to ensure rubric consistency and clarity, facilitating calibration meetings to maintain milestone visibility
- Compose family communications and facilitate team huddles that synchronize efforts and uphold collective standards for campus-wide PreK outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or specialized certification preferred
- At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a closely related area
- Demonstrated success designing and executing play-based educational frameworks or curricula that support developmental milestone attainment, such as Montessori
- A minimum of 1 year coaching or supervising a team of educators with clear performance expectations
- Track record of producing written progress reports for families and facilitating team coordination meetings within an educational environment
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requirement for visa sponsorship
- Commitment to working in-person at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation assistance available as needed
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Knowledge of edtech systems, adaptive monitoring dashboards, or digital assessment tools applied in early childhood contexts
- Background in behavior guidance approaches and co-regulation methods for children aged 3-5

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.
The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
The payment period is weekly.
