About the role

The Monitoring and Reporting Unit Supervisor is responsible for overseeing routine monitoring activities for state-funded homelessness grant programs. They manage a small to medium team of analysts and/or HCD Representatives, review all staff work products, and coach staff to produce timely and accurate work products.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure grantees meet all fiscal reporting deadlines and comply with contractual and statutory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain monitoring tools.
  • Prepare and issue written communications to grantees.
  • Ensure accountability through the use of corrective action plans and collaborative technical assistance.
  • Oversee the development, review, and tracking of grantee reports to verify that submissions are timely, accurate, and consistent with contract and statutory obligations.

Requirements

This position requires reporting to an HCD office a minimum of four days per week. In limited cases, at the Department's discretion, an employee may be approved to work in a remote-centered capacity on a temporary basis until appropriate office space becomes available.
