About the role

Provides cardiac monitoring for patients of assigned department under the direction of the RN and Physician.

• Basic EKG interpretation
• Demonstrates team member abilities
• Education and/or training related to areas of responsibility
• Required: Successful completion of EKG Dysrhythmia interpretation or Monitor Tech course and/or Certificate
• Typing and computer skills
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
