Monitor Technician II

How You’ll Help

The virtual monitoring technician II is primarily responsible for the continuous ECG monitoring of patient’s cardiac rhythm by responding to all alarms detected; identifying cardiac arrhythmia; reporting significant events; tracking patient activities; documenting abnormalities; and producing cardiac rhythm reports.

Shift

This position is located in Roanoke, VA at Carilion Clinic Parkview. This position is not a work from home position.

Bonus

This position is eligible for a $1,000 bonus when successful candidate meets applicable guidelines and for external hires only.

Compensation

If you are selected for this position, your compensation will range from $17.39 to $24.35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Cardiac Monitoring course or successfully challenge (if eligible).
• Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required within 60 days of hire.
• Other Minimum Qualifications: Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills required. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position. Must complete Basic computer skills and knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software preferred.
