Responsibilities

  • Monitor and recognize continuous electrocardiographic telemetry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or an arrhythmia test administered by the Education Department.
  • Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Certification of completion of a Cardiac Monitoring EKG course.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served.
