Monitor Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cardiac Monitor Technician to join our care team. In this role, you will provide continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring using telemetry systems, accurately identify and document rhythm changes, and promptly communicate critical findings to nursing and clinical staff. This position plays an essential role in supporting patient safety and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and identify appropriate heart rhythms and rhythm changes.
• Document rhythm strips.
• Provide clerical support and report pertinent information to appropriate staff.

Requirements

• Must be able to read and write English.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and strong keyboarding skills is preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Must pass Basic Arrhythmia certification test provided by NRHS within 6 weeks of hire (passing grade is 80%). On-the-job training will be provided.

Pay

$14.29–$23.34/hr based on previous work experience. Additional differentials: $1.10 for evening shifts, $1.25 for night shifts, and $1.25 for weekend shifts.

Schedule

• Day schedule: 7:00 AM start
• Night schedule: 7:00 PM start

This is a regular full-time position.
