About the role
The Monitor Technician interprets cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias, maintains telemetry supplies, and maintains patient records according to hospital policy. You will communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, ancillary departments, and other customers. Responsibilities include maintaining a neat and organized workplace and acquiring and maintaining correct knowledge of hospital/unit information. You will also operate computer systems as necessary.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of basic rhythms and arrhythmias is required
- Previous experience as a CMT/Cardiac Tech or Monitor Technician preferred
- Completion of basic EKG/Arrhythmia course and successful completion of Monitor Tech examination
