About the role
Maintains patient safety by monitoring heart rhythms and documenting on rhythm strips.
Notifies nursing staff of any changes or arrhythmias detected.
Sends monitor strips to medical records for scanning to HPF using the hospital's electronic medical record system.
Utilizes the hospital's electronic medical record to obtain necessary orders and medical histories.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Training in interpretation of cardiac rhythms is preferred.
- An annual competency requirement is in place.
