Responsibilities
The responsible individual will monitor and recognize continuous electrocardiographic telemetry.
About the role
Spring Valley Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of six acute care hospitals. The hospital provides care for patients in Southern Nevada and nearby communities, including emergency care, advanced cardiovascular and neurological surgeries, and comprehensive maternity services. Spring Valley Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and has achieved TJC Advanced Certifications in Primary Heart Attack, Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke, and Hip and Knee Total Joint Replacement. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or successful completion of an arrhythmia test given by the Education Department.
- Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Certification of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course.
License/Certification
Current BLS Certification. Certification of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course.
Other
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
