Monitor Tech FT McAllen

Monitor Technician responsible for monitoring patients’ cardiac telemetry readings from a centralized location in the unit through a wireless network. Accountable for maintaining performance skills. Routinely works every other weekend, holidays, overtime, and/or on an on-call/call-back status in their assigned shift.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or higher education required
• Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to compliance program and code of conduct
• Complete dysrhythmia course prior to completion of orientation
• Current BLS certification (AHA Healthcare Provider’s Program)
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Six months to one year of previous experience preferred
