Monitor Tech/Clerk - Virtual Integrated Care

About the Role

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a part-time Monitor Tech/Clerk to work with our Virtual Integrated Care Department. This is a dual role performed according to the assignment given by the charge nurse.

• When assigned as a Monitor Tech, the primary responsibility is to monitor the central telemetry station and document arrhythmias according to hospital policy. This role supports nursing by reducing the time nurses spend monitoring patients' heart rhythms.
• When assigned as a Unit Clerk, the primary responsibility is to provide clerical and receptionist duties to the nursing unit, supporting nursing by handling administrative tasks.

• Adhere to hospital standards of conduct, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations; report violations through the appropriate chain of command.
• Report safety concerns and hazardous conditions in a timely manner.
