Responsibilities

• Provides continuous surveillance of cardiac telemetry monitors to identify and report significant changes in cardiac rhythms.
• Supports patient safety and clinical communication in centralized monitoring environments.
• Continuously observe and interpret cardiac rhythms from telemetry monitors.
• Record rhythm strips at designated intervals and notify nursing staff of changes.
• Maintain monitor station cleanliness and function; report equipment issues.
• Document rhythm interpretations and maintain accurate logbooks.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with unit nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent including education equivalent to completion of secondary school or demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the role.
• Licenses/Certifications: BCLS – Basic Life Support Upon Hire or within facility-specified time frame (Required)
• Experience: Prior Experience not required
