Responsibilities

• Interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias
• Maintain telemetry supplies
• Maintain patient records according to hospital policy
• Communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, ancillary departments, and other customers
• Maintain a neat and organized work place
• Acquire and maintain correct knowledge of hospital/unit information
• Operate computer systems as necessary

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Working knowledge of basic rhythms and arrhythmias is required
• Completion of a basic EKG/Arrhythmia course and successful completion of the Monitor Tech examination
• Previous experience as a CMT/Cardiac Tech or Monitor Technician is preferred

Pay

Hourly Wage Estimate: $16.02 - $22.43 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical wage range of candidates hired. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below the midpoint of the range.
