Responsibilities
- Continuous surveillance, interpretation, and reporting of monitor and telemetry tracings from the telemetry central console.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Completion of a telemetry/cardiac monitoring course.
- Fluency in English to function appropriately in the job environment.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Ability to multitask constantly and tolerate interruptions.
- Ability to work in a high-stress area.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior monitor technician experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
