Job Summary

Conducts high complexity molecular tests in the treatment and diagnosis of genetic diseases.

Key Responsibilities

  • General PCR Set-up
  • Performs testing and troubleshoots assay performance
  • Performs data analysis
  • Operates and maintains the laboratory equipment
  • Performs QC and takes appropriate actions if systems deviate from the laboratory’s established specification
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or medical technology
  • Experience: 4-6 years
  • PREFERRED: MB(ASCP) or MT(ASCP)
