About The Job
We are seeking a motivated individual to join the Minnesota Center for Prion Research & Outreach (MNPRO) for a temporary research appointment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with nanopore sequencing experiments
- Curate molecular data within lab and MSI servers
- Help write and/or submit peer-reviewed publications
- Prepare and submit sequence data to NCBI
Required Qualifications
- PhD in molecular biology or related field
- Leading author or co-author of a minimum of 5 peer-reviewed publications
- Experience with nanopore sequencing and bioinformatics
- Experience submitting sequence data to NCBI
- Experience working within a BSL2 molecular lab
