Working conditions: fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requires standing, bending, and lifting throughout shift. Overtime may be required.
Responsibilities
- Read work orders and instructions to determine material requirements and product specifications.
- Set up and adjust equipment guides, stops, and other fixtures.
- Inspect part for defects & verify conformance to specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met.
- Mark products or equipment with identifying information.
- Move materials and products between work areas as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory of materials and finished products.
- Record production and operational data.
- Count, pack, and forward parts to the next stage of production.
Requirements
- High school diploma preferred.
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
- Manual dexterity.
