Molding Operator II - Day Shift (Mon - Thur 6am - 4:30pm)

Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Molding Teams operate assigned automated molding machinery, ensuring component flow, troubleshooting and correcting machinery issues to maintain quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedules, conduct quality checks, and document results as required by quality procedures. Every Team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organizing the work area while adhering to TE Connectivity’s EH&S procedures.

Job Requirements

• Perform hourly quality inspection
• Make and prepare boxes for components
• Packaging components
• Weighing components
• Monitoring machine equipment
• Arrange for repair and maintenance as required
• Follow safety guidelines
• Follow company and department guidelines, procedures, and policies
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of the work area
• Other duties as assigned

What your background should look like

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year work experience
• Background check and pre-employment drug testing required
• Wear safety toe shoes and safety glasses (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Experience working in manufacturing settings
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills
• Read, write, and communicate in English
• Able to lift a maximum weight of 30 lbs.
• Able to push a maximum weight of 45 lbs.
• Able to pull a maximum weight of 55 lbs.

Compensation

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $17.00/Hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
