Molding Maintenance Technician - Nights

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties with minimum supervision.
  • Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance.
  • Assist employees in all departments and facilities in solving maintenance problems.
  • Keep shop area and molding machines neat and orderly.
  • Willingness to get training to progress in maintenance field.
  • Obtain parts in times of emergency.
  • Take control of machine when a situation arises that has the potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of the machine.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    • Work independently and as part of a team.
    • Have mechanical aptitude.
    • Accept responsibility for work performed.
    • Dependable and motivated with a good work history.
    • Able to participate in an apprenticeship program.
    • Able to read blueprints and schematics.
    • Able to read comprehension and math skills.
    • Must provide own tools.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds overhead.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to waist.
    • Ability to work around grease, oils and solvents without adverse reaction.
    • Ability to climb up and down ladders.
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend or stoop through an entire shift.
    • Good manual dexterity of arms and fingers.
    • Must have 20/20 vision with correction and must be able to differentiate color.

    Pay

    Starting rate: $29.75/hour plus $1.00 shift differential while working on night shift.

    Schedule

    12 hour shifts: 7pm to 7am
