Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plastic injection molding and extrusion equipment. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, fixing equipment issues, and ensuring machines run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on molding and extrusion machines
• Set up molds, change inserts, and support mold fitting
• Set up, start, shut down, and clean extrusion lines
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Monitor machine performance and ensure proper calibration
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Cook up with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
• Support safety standards, cleanroom practices, and company policies

Additional Responsibilities

• Aid with audits, projects, and inventory tracking
• Order and manage spare parts and equipment
• Train team members on machine operations when required
• Be available for different shifts or on-call support if needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with plastic injection molding and extrusion

Required Skills

• Experience with injection molding, extrusion, and plastics processing
• Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)
• Knowledge of mold setup, maintenance, and tooling
• Understanding of cleanroom and safety standards
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage time and handle multiple tasks
