About the role

Connectronics Corp., a U.S. manufacturer of specialized electronic connectors including high-voltage interconnects, aerospace connectors, underwater connectors, high current connectors, and multi-pin cable assemblies, has an opening in Toledo, OH for a molder.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine which parts are required to be produced, define product specifications, and outline materials requirements.
• Position assembled mold on press bed of molding machine and align die with matrix.
• Set machine controls to regulate forming pressure of machine and curing time of plastic in mold.
• Start machine to produce samples, examine samples for defects, and adjust machine set-up to eliminate defects.
• Examine all parts produced to ensure there are no defects.
• Remove or trim excess material from products using knives or scrapers.
• Produce molded components in a timely manner to ensure production schedules are met.
• Perform other job functions as required.
