About the role

Chicago Mold Engineering seeks individuals passionate about American Manufacturing who are eager to learn and grow in the CNC machining field through hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build, repair, and troubleshoot plastic injection molds.
• Gain experience with basic shop machinery such as Prototraks, surface grinders, lathes, etc.
• Develop understanding of complex plastic injection molds (some experience a plus).

Requirements

• Basic understanding of general shop machinery (Prototraks, surface grinders, lathes, etc.).
• Some understanding of complex plastic injection molds (a plus).

Qualifications

• Passion for American Manufacturing.
• Impassioned longing for knowledge.
• Much pride in the craft of mold making.

Skills

• Basic understanding of general shop machinery.
• Understanding of complex plastic injection molds (some experience a plus).
