Mold Setup Technician

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up molds for composite manufacturing processes
• Clean molds and apply release agents according to specifications
• Load and position fiberglass and composite materials into molds
• Monitor production cycles and ensure proper material performance
• Unload cured components and perform post-processing work
• Perform finishing work including sanding, grinding, and burr removal
• Conduct quality inspections on finished components
• Operate hand and power tools with precision
• Work independently and as part of a production team
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications

• Experience as a mold technician, assembler, or in manufacturing environments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
• Comfort using hand and power tools
• Experience working with plastic, resin, fiberglass, composite materials, or metal
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude

Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $24.24/hour
First Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
