Mold Preparation Technician 3rd shift

About the role

Maintain and prepare molds for production processes. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure mold quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain injection molding machines
• Inspect molds for defects and perform necessary repairs
• Develop and implement new mold preparation techniques
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to optimize mold usage
• Document procedures and troubleshoot issues as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mold preparation and maintenance
• Proficiency in using injection molding machines and related equipment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mold design and manufacturing processes
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment
