Mold Operator - 2nd Shift
About the role
Nissha Medical Technologies (NMT) is a global CDMO focused on advancing healthcare through innovative medical devices and solutions. Based in the U.S., NMT is part of Nissha Co., Ltd., a Japanese company headquartered in Kyoto, Japan. This position is available in a 2nd shift from 4:00pm to 2:30am, with training on 1st shift for the first 30-45 days.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Mold Machines
- Perform general maintenance and inspections on molding equipment and tools
- Inspect molded parts and assemblies for quality
- Perform in-line inspections and testing to meet production specifications
- Resolve simple equipment and process issues
- Package finished devices and ship products to customers
- Interface with various departments for shipment and logistical issues
- Create and print product labels for shipping
- Perform final inspection and counts of items
- Packaging finished goods into appropriate containers and crates
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Experience with injection molding and/or manufacturing machines preferred
- Previous experience in Shipping and/or Packaging is a plus
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Team player willing to support business needs
- Reads and follows job sheets, production drawings, MAI's, and R&D sample assemblies
- Uses a microscope as needed

Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $17.00 – $19.50 per hour. A $0.75/hour Night Shift Differential will be paid for all hours worked on Night Shift.
