About the Role
The Mold Maker + CNC Programmer is responsible for building, revising, and maintaining Entegris-owned molds, tooling, and fixtures by performing machining and mechanical processes, methods, and techniques. With proven performance, opportunities to grow into a larger or different role exist. This position also provides additional support to the production teams.
Responsibilities
- Build new molds along with mold inserts for existing tooling.
- Repair molds to allow quick turn-around with issues as they arise within competency level.
- Maintain current and appropriate documentation in mold files and complete all job-related documentation.
- Operate Tool Room equipment at a high level of competency (CNC Mills, CNC EDMs, and CNC Lathes).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to mold cycling, mold function in the press, miscellaneous tooling, and fixtures as required.
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
- Assemble production molds, clean molds following standard procedures, and reassemble as required.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the mold making field/industry required.
- 2-year degree in mold making or completion of a qualified apprenticeship program.
- Knowledge and use of SolidWorks/Creo.
- Programming skills for CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam.
- Ability to demonstrate problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform math computations and computer data entry.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand during the entire shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive pushing and sliding of mold plates and mold inserts.
- Periodically requires repetitive hand, wrist, and grasping of objects with fingers for extended periods of time.
- Ability to visually detect quality defects.
- Ability to work overtime and on-call schedule as required.

Schedule
- Second Shift: Flexible hours Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM with overtime opportunity or 1:30 PM - 11:30 PM, 4 days/week.
- Third Shift: Flexible hours Sunday-Thursday, Monday-Friday 10 PM - 6 AM, or Monday-Thursday 8 PM - 6 AM.
