About the Role

ORBIS is seeking a Mold Change Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform mold and press set-up activities, troubleshoot related issues, and work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities

• Perform changeovers and set-ups of molds and machines for mold and version changes.
• Improve machine efficiency through uptime and optimization.
• Complete required trainings: Paulson, Systematic I, EAM, and crane.
• Assist Process Techs and Maintenance in troubleshooting mold and press functions.
• Install dies on machines according to specifications (e.g., layouts, STW, BOMs).
• Participate in safety and communications meetings as scheduled.
• Support production needs, including vacation coverage and overtime changeover support.
• Complete all safety and company compliance training on time.
• Follow and document process parameters (platen layouts) to ensure repeatable results.
• Troubleshoot to improve and develop repeatable molding processes.
• Properly handle and care for all materials, molds, and tooling.
• Actively participate in Continuous Improvement, promoting and sustaining CI, 5S, and STW activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
