Mohs Surgeon - Sarasota, Punta Gorda

About the role

Suncoast Skin Solutions is seeking a Board-Certified and Fellowship trained MOHS Surgeon to join their growing practice. They are particularly looking for a full-time Fellowship trained MOHS Surgeon at their Sarasota and Punta Gorda office locations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other staff to improve patient outcomes
• Educate patients on preventive care techniques and communicate important health information effectively and compassionately
• Work with various ages, ethnicities and cultures
• Provide a collaborative, supervising physician role
• Adhere to state laws and regulations
• Track and maintain patients' records regularly
• Work with an EMR system
• Handle confidential information in a HIPAA and OSHA compliant manner
• Show great knowledge of procedures for handling confidential information
• Show a sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
• Display good time-management and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• Must be a Board-Certified Physician in Dermatology
• Active State of Florida License
• Must have a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) or Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Dermatology from an approved university
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to empathize with patients
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
