What Our Module Facer Operators Do
They are responsible for all activities associated with running the single-facer and assisting in wet-end and dry-end operations, including setup, operation, cleanup, quality, and recommending improvements to operations.
They help turn recycled paper into corrugated boxes for shipment to our customers!
Think boxes for Domino’s pizzas, moving with Home Depot, Amazon deliveries, Hello Fresh meals, and more!
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Prior experience in corrugating preferred
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear
- Frequently requires use of hands to find, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- The employee is occasionally required to sit
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with the assistance of another worker
Mental Requirements
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply concepts of high school math, calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate
Languages Skills
- Able to read and follow instructions
- Able to communicate effectively
Miscellaneous
- May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License
