Modern Workplace Chief Consultant (Device Lifecycle Mgmt.)
About the role
The role of the Chief Consultant is to support our growth and relevance to our customers in driving their digital transformations. This role is tasked with overseeing the technology needs within their area of expertise and responsible for partnering in the development of the long and short-term technology strategy in North America. This role is responsible for outlining the company’s technological vision, implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that the technological resources are aligned with the company’s sales strategy. This position is customer facing, with travel to customer meetings as required. International travel may be required.

- Delivers services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
- Attends customer opportunity / strategy meetings to understand and articulate business and technical strategy for the company and the customer.
- Works as a technical consultant on enterprise scale mission-critical customer projects.
- Provides Thought Leadership within their area of expertise, garner customer confidence in the company’s capabilities, and help close deals.
- Defines the technical landscape relevant to our customers, to provide insight and build our technical offerings for our customers.
- Engages in, and manages, customer demonstrations and proofs of concept.
- Delivers Technical offerings that meet the requirements of our customers with a focus on partnership and co-creation.
- Oversees the identification of emerging technologies to assess their maturity and applicability tied to strategic business initiatives.
- Develops and delivers technology plans to the leadership team and provide performance assessment and cost analysis on the company’s technology portfolio.
- Expresses the company’s technical opinion through Thought Leadership, white papers, and messaging campaigns, both internally and externally.
- Evaluates and recommends strategic partners for technology transformation initiatives.
- Works closely with our customers, technology and services partners, analyst community, and our internal service providers to provide direction and insight into the North America business.

- Works cross-functionally with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the success of the company’s technology initiatives.
- Aligns multiple strategies and ideas.
- Adheres to company philosophy, mission, and sales goals.
Qualifications
- Likely eligible to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; Master’s degree in information technology, or a technology related discipline preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership.
- Relevant industry leading qualifications or accreditation in one or more technology.
- Technical certifications across different manufacturers for their discipline.
- Maintains a high level of industry awareness through training and self-development.
- Experience leading projects that include hardware and software, overall architecture design, specification development, and OEM selection.
- Experience managing enterprise-wide technology blueprint / strategy campaigns.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Confidence in producing and presenting work.
