Modeling and Simulations Specialist

About the role

Modeling and Simulations Specialist position located at Fort Bragg, N.C. This is a full‑time role that requires an active SECRET security clearance and is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Develop training scenarios using Virtual Battle Space (VBS) 4.
• Build three‑dimensional terrain databases and entity objects with various software tools.
• Work with constructive and virtual computer simulations, video editing, and authoring of modeling/simulation scenarios.
• Apply knowledge of Army Mission Command and/or Live, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming (LVCG) systems.
• Utilize military operational concepts in scenario development.

Requirements

• Associate degree (or four years of related military experience in lieu of degree).
• Active SECRET security clearance.
• Position contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience developing scenarios with Virtual Battle Space (VBS) 4.
• Familiarity with building three‑dimensional terrain databases and entity objects using a variety of software.

Skills

• Knowledge of at least one object‑oriented programming language (Java, C++, or .NET).
• Understanding of Army Mission Command and/or LVCG systems.
• Knowledge of military operational concepts.
