Modeling and Simulation Support Lead

About the role

IDS is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Support Lead to support mission training and exercise requirements through the development of modeling, simulation, terrain, and media products.

Responsibilities

• Support Army modeling and simulation activities
• Utilize Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Terra Vista Dart or equivalent terrain creation/authoring software
• Support virtual and constructive computer simulations
• Perform video editing and author simulation-specific scenarios
• Provide leadership and supervision of simulation support personnel
• Support media and terrain development requirements

Requirements

• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree
• In-depth knowledge of Army Modeling and Simulation concepts
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Terra Vista Dart or equivalent Terrain Creation/Authoring Suite
• Effective leadership and supervisory skills
• Experience supervising personnel
• Two years of experience with virtual and constructive computer simulations, video editing, and authoring of specific simulation scenarios

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include two years of supervisory experience of a media/terrain modeling development team focusing on constructive and virtual simulations

Pay

Compensation is competitive and hourly pay is offered.

Schedule

Shift times are general hours; some projects may require earlier or later reporting based on customer requirements.

Benefits

The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position.
