Modeling and Simulation Specialist - USSF Guardian Enlisted Trai with Security Clearance

POSITION SUMMARY

Aleut is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Specialist to support the 533d Training Squadron's USSF Guardian Enlisted Training (GET) initiative at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. Work is slated to start on 1 January 2027 (contingent on contract award).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Deliver Modeling and Simulation (M&S) support to the GET curriculum as required in Orbital Warfare, Space Electronic Warfare, Space Battle Management, Intelligence, and Cyber phases of instruction.
• Develop realistic space-domain scenarios and simulations for student activities, integrated exercises, and Graduation Exercise (GRADEX).
• Create orbital and ground-based training environments using government M&S tools.
• Support exercise design, storytelling, and scenario development.
• Cookordination activities with Contract PM and government supervisory personnel.
• Additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proficiency in C++ programming.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
• Active or current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required.

DESIRED SKILLS

• Familiarity with US Space Force-related Tactical Data Processors and applications - GCCS, Agile Client, PDS-M, TRS-Dashboard, and GIANT.
• Familiarity with AFSIM, Systems Toolkit (STK), BORG, and/or other Orbital Warfare M&S tools.
• Instructional Systems Design (ISD) experience.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing modeling and simulation tools and building training scenarios.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work on-site, indoor office and classroom environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to perform repetitive keyboard tasks and associated motions for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to carry up to 25 pounds.

PAY RANGE

$85,000 -- $225,000 (annual) depending on qualifications.
