About the role
The opportunity is to develop efficient and effective software solutions in an agile environment. You will design, modify, and implement software applications using Agile methods, and work with modeling and simulation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design, modify, and implement software programming applications using Agile methods
- Develop and enhance code samples for existing applications
- Create solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team environment
- Master new tools and techniques to improve system efficiency
- Work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
- Analyze the environment to ensure solutions consider current architecture and future functionality
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using Agile methods
- 3+ years of experience in working with C++
- Experience with modeling and simulation frameworks
- Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
- Experience creating solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Nice if you have: Experience with Simulation Models, including Radar, Sensors, or Aircraft; Experience with pre- or post-processing scripting for large data sets; Experience with Modeling and Simulation frameworks, such as AFSIM, EAAGLES, FLAMES or Simulation Engines, such as Unreal, RavEngine; Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products; Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization; Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance

Pay
The estimated annual salary range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
