Model (Volunteer – Fashion and Media Division)
Mentor A Promise (MAP) is a New York City–based nonprofit serving children and youth (ages 5–18) experiencing housing instability, grounded in the belief that every child is a Promise—full of potential, dignity, and possibility. We deliver consistent, high-quality programming across mentorship, literacy, social-emotional learning, and creative expression in shelters, schools, and community spaces, creating structured environments where students can grow, be seen, and build lasting skills. Through signature experiences like The Imagination Studio, The Kitchen Table, The Sound Lab, and The Story Space, we nurture academic development, emotional well-being, and creative voice, all within a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and accessibility-centered framework.

Representation, Consent & Professional Standards
MAP is committed to respectful and ethical creative practices. - Clear communication regarding project expectations
- Appropriate consent for use of image and likeness
- No unauthorized use of participant images or content
- Respectful styling and representation

Why This Role Matters: Fashion becomes meaningful when design meets the person who brings it to life. A garment can begin as a sketch. Fabric gives it form. Craftsmanship gives it structure. But the person wearing it introduces something no drawing can fully capture—movement, presence, personality, and humanity. Models are part of that creative process. Wear the idea. Bring the design to life. Help us create fashion and brand experiences with purpose.
