Model Based System Engineer (MBSE) Modeler (ES2)

About the role

Epsilon C5I, a division of Epsilon Systems Solutions, is seeking a Model Based System Engineer (MBSE) Modeler (ES2) for their Dayton division. The Dayton division was recently named one of only five prime awardees for the 10-year, $4.7 billion NOVASTAR contract supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), WPAFB, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Development of baseline threat models derived from flight internal foundational force employment intelligence.
• Add behavior model to physics-based model.
• MBSE production: 80% baseline analysis for scenarios, 20% tailored mission needs for wargaming.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other closely related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering, science, or mathematics.
• Strong Systems Engineering Foundation: A solid understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies, particularly Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI eligibility.
• Familiarity with Cameo. Familiarity with AFSIM/NGTS/ArcGIS. System Modelling Language (SySML) 2.0, or similar compatible Design Innovation Environment (DIE) tool.
• Prioritization of tasks effectively, management of deadlines, and handling of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Must reside within commuting distance to WPAFB, OH or willing to relocate to the area.
• Desire an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Technical leadership experience.
• Strong written communication skills, possess good people skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail and have the desire to work on a highly focused technical team of engineers, analysts, and scientists.
• Background knowledge or experience primarily in INDOPACOM, but also EUCOM and CENTCOM AORs.
• Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
