Model Based System Engineer (MBSE) Modeler (ES3)
About the role
Epsilon C5I, a division of Epsilon Systems Solutions, is seeking a Model Based System Engineer (MBSE) Modeler (ES3) for their Dayton division. The Dayton division was recently named one of only five prime awardees for the 10-year, $4.7 billion NOVASTAR contract supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), WPAFB, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Develop baseline threat models derived from flight internal foundational force employment intelligence.
- Add behavior model to physics-based model.
- MBSE production: 80% baseline analysis for scenarios, 20% tailored mission needs for wargaming.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other closely related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in engineering, science, or mathematics.
- Strong Systems Engineering Foundation: A solid understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies, particularly Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI eligibility.
- Familiarity with Cameo, AFSIM/NGTS/ArcGIS, System Modelling Language (SysML) 2.0, or similar compatible Design Innovation Environment (DIE) tool.
- Prioritization of tasks, effective communication, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen.
- Experience in INDOPACOM, EUCOM, and CENTCOM AORs.
- Technical leadership experience.
- Strong written communication skills, possess good people skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail and have the desire to work on a highly focused technical team of engineers, analysts, and scientists.
- Effective communication and collaboration with Customers, and cross-functional teams, document technical processes, and present solutions to stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
Skills
- Scenario-Based Modeling Expertise.
- System Modelling Language (SysML) 2.0 Proficiency.
- Familiarity with AI/ML models to process and analyze large datasets.
Benefits
Work is performed onsite in the Dayton, Ohio area. Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding). Frequent sitting, standing, walking. Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
Pay
Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
