Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Support, promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report potential issues to management
• Provide prompt, courteous service to guests while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere
• Provide quality service to internal and external guests, maintaining established quality standards for timely food and beverage
• Adhere to proper par stock procedures
• Complete and oversee set-up and clearing of the bar area
• Maintain consistent and appropriate accountability for all money at the bar
• Responsible for cash bank; ensure proper handling of comps, room charges, credit cards, coupons, and other forms of payment
• Upsell and suggestively sell menu items, specials and beverages at all times
• Perform prep tasks when not serving guests, including stocking items and cleaning work areas
• Enforce customer limit regulations in a firm and courteous manner
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years of bartending experience in a high volume pool, day club, or night club environment preferred
• Previous modeling experience in a dayclub and/or nightclub environment preferred
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate
• Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems in a diplomatic and tactful manner
• Excellent organizational skills with particular attention to detail, functioning effectively under time constraints
• Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills and good public relations skills
• Proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management, vendors and employees while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
• Must be able to withstand extreme sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather for long periods of time throughout the day
• Working knowledge of Point-of-Sale (POS) System preferred; Micros experience highly preferred

Language and Reasoning Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
• Written communication skills in English may also be required
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, color vision, and peripheral vision
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push and pull up to 150 pounds, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance in varying work areas including confined spaces
