Mod Repair Technician - 1st Shift

What You'll Do

• Inspect, repair, and maintain plastic and metal components on poultry transport modules
• Load, unload, and transport modules using a forklift
• Safely move equipment throughout the repair area
• Maintain a steady workflow while meeting daily production goals
• Complete daily repair and progress reports
• Identify damaged components and communicate parts needs to shop management
• Aid with seasonal trailer curtain replacements and repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Good communication and organizational skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain productivity throughout the day
• A commitment to workplace safety
• The willingness to learn and operate a forklift safely if not already certified
• Previous experience in equipment repair, mechanical maintenance, welding, fabrication, automotive repair, agricultural equipment, or industrial maintenance (preferred but not required)
