Mobility Technician, Part-Time, Baptist Nassau

About the role
We are seeking a compassionate, capable, and team-oriented Mobility Technician to join our Nursing Support team at Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach, FL. This is a part-time, days position working 12-hour shifts. Ideal candidates thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment and focus on providing quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clinical staff in the safe repositioning, ambulation, and transfer of patients
- Utilize patient handling equipment such as lifts, slide sheets, and transfer boards
- Respond to mobility requests from nursing and rehabilitation departments
- Support fall prevention strategies and early mobility protocols
- Document patient mobility activities in accordance with hospital policies
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions or safety concerns
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate's Degree preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
