Baptist Health is looking for a compassionate, capable, and team-oriented Mobility Technician to join our Nursing Support team at Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach, FL. This is a Part-Time Days position working 12 hour shifts. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Mobility Technicians assist nursing staff in supporting the mobility needs of patients. Mobility Technician Job Responsibilities Assist clinical staff in the safe repositioning, ambulation, and transfer of patientsUtilize patient handling equipment such as lifts, slide sheets, and transfer boardsRespond to mobility requests from nursing and rehabilitation departmentsSupport fall prevention strategies and early mobility protocolsDocument patient mobility activities in accordance with hospital policiesMaintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
