Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute time-phased force deployment data (TPFDD) and comprehensive movement plans for USARCENT forces executing operational deployments or joint exercises.
- Cook directly with U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), Air Mobility Command (AMC), and commercial carriers to secure transport assets.
- Utilize joint and Army automated transportation systems to generate military shipping labels, hazardous material (HAZMAT) manifests, and equipment stowage plans.
- Maintain comprehensive real-time ITV of personnel, cargo, and equipment using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) networks and tracking databases to resolve border or transit delays.
- Aid in managing port of debarkation/embarkation (POD/POE) logistics, ensuring smooth Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, and Integration (RSOI) for arriving units.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (equivalent military mobility experience may be substituted).
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of specialized experience in military transportation and deployment operations (Army 88N, 880A, or civilian contractor equivalent background). Experience at a Division, Corps, or Theater Army (ASCC) G4 mobility cell is highly preferred.
- Technical Systems: Direct operational proficiency with the Transportation Coordinator's Automated Information for Movements System II (TC-AIMS II), Joint Flow and Analysis System for Transportation (JFAST), and Integrated Data Environment/Global Transportation Network Convergence (IGC).
- Certifications: Current certifications in Hazardous Materials Transportation (AMMO-62 or equivalent) and Unit Movement Officer (UMO) course completion are highly preferred.
- Clearance: Active DoD Secret security clearance is required at the time of application.
Skills
- Deep understanding of Joint Publication 4-01 (Joint Doctrine for the Defense Transportation System), Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) parts II and III, and diplomatic clearance protocols for international transit.
