Mobility Specialist

About the role

The Sales and Service Specialist, TNC is an essential member of the Hertz Local Edition team. As a brand ambassador, you will facilitate the fastest, easiest, and most valued rental car experience to Lyft and/or Uber drivers while ensuring optimal operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with reservations, processing rentals, providing clean and safe vehicles, and handling post-rental inquiries about billing, extensions, roadside assistance, and more. You will also communicate program details, maximize revenue opportunities, and prepare vehicles for customer pick-up by inspecting for damage, cleaning interiors and exteriors, and ensuring proper fluid levels.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate seamless rental experiences for Lyft and/or Uber drivers.
• Assist customers with reservations, rentals, and post-rental inquiries (billing, extensions, roadside assistance).
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, requirements, and procedures.
• Maximize revenue by actively soliciting business and overcoming customer objections.
• Prepare vehicles for pick-up: inspect for damage, clean interiors (windows, door jams, trunk, vacuum) and exteriors (wash), fill gasoline tanks, and check fluid levels.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Assist with special administrative projects as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varied tasks.
• Professionalism, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of customer service resolution practices and excellent communication techniques.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Clear and proficient communication in English; fluency in other languages is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Pay

$16.00 per hour.
