Mobility Aide Lead

The Mobility Aide Lead plans, organizes, manages and evaluates mobility aide activities; plans and develop goals and processes to enhance and improve the operations of the department to support the Medical Center’s mission, vision and values.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, manages and evaluates mobility aide activities
• Supervises, assists with hiring, training and evaluates the work performance of mobility aide staff
• Promotes and ensures ongoing collaboration with other departments and areas that relate directly or indirectly to mobility aide operations and services
• Develops, administers the mobility aide schedules
• Identifies opportunities for improvement in mobility aide processes

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or a related field. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Within 3 months of hire obtains American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Healthcare or a related field. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Within 3 months of hire obtains American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Meets minimum demonstration of competency for patient transfers and transportation.
• Mandatory education and health requirements met.
• Demonstrates competency interpersonal/interdepartmental relations, and cognitive skills to meet essential job functions.
