About the role
The Medical Unit at WMH is a fast-paced, 53-bed unit serving a variety of patient populations. The staff here provides care for patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, acute/chronic respiratory conditions, trachs/vents, cellulitis, urinary tract infections, chronic conditions like COPD, heart failure, diabetes, patients on dialysis, and acute drug and alcohol withdrawal. Our staff are also well-prepared to care for medical patients with mental health conditions and those with dementia.
Responsibilities
- We are currently searching for a Mobility Aide to provide support to the staff and patients on the unit.
- Qualified candidates will work independently, providing resource information and ambulatory services to patients.
- Completes clerical tasks related to regulatory annual requirements, audits, and patient processes.
Requirements
- Must have a strong interest in customer service and be able to multitask and work independently with little supervision.
- Passionate about providing excellent patient care and able to demonstrate compassion at the end of life.

Pay
Starting at $15.00/hr, with increases based on experience.
Schedule
This 0.6 FTE commits to 20 hours per week. Monday-Friday hours are 0800-1630. Hours are flexible. Every other weekend and holiday rotation from 0800-1630.
