Mobile Wind Operations Manager - West

About the Role

As a Mobile Site Manager, you will oversee the operations of a service site, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will support teams located in different wind farms according to business needs, aligning with the organization's key values and ensuring effective performance in their positions. Your role will involve safety leadership, operational efficiency, financial performance, and customer account management, with deep involvement in technical problem-solving, budget management, and ensuring optimal turbine performance.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate an environment focused on safety at the site, promoting continuous improvement in safety performance.
• Develop and empower your team to efficiently operate and maintain wind turbine plants.
• Establish robust partnerships with clients to guarantee the fulfillment of contractual commitments.
• Manage costs effectively to meet budgetary targets for service contracts.
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance and problem-solving efforts to optimize turbine performance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of management experience in a related service field.
• Willingness to work at the service site and travel (to various turbines) as needed.
• Availability for traveling 100% of the time.
• Technical background, with knowledge of hydraulic or rotating heavy equipment.
• Solid English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid driver's license and passport.

• Proficiency in safety programs, practices, and procedures.

• Previous budgeting and project management experience.
• Experienced in negotiating agreements while prioritizing customer satisfaction.

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Hearing ability to use telephones, close range radios, or related devices.
• Visual acuity including depth perception, field of vision, and the ability to distinguish between colors.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed, as well as physical coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to climb stairs and vertical ladders to heights of 60 to 100 meters and at times supervise work in confined space environments.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry items up to 50 lbs in weight.
• Ability to observe training and obtain certification in required safety programs that include LOTO, Electrical, Fall Arrest & High Angle Emergency Decent, and Confined Space.
• Ability to participate fully in all training courses, including controlled descent practical exercises.
• Due to safety parameters of fall protection equipment, the total weight of required PPE and gear shall weigh 300 lbs or less while being worn. Required PPE and gear can weigh up to 40 lbs.

Pay

The salary range for this opportunity is between $100,000 - $135,000.
