Mobile Unit Engineer Apprentice

About the role

NEP's Mobile Unit Engineering Apprenticeship Program is designed for highly talented and motivated individuals interested in becoming part of the best team of broadcast engineers. The program provides hands-on learning and practical experience in setting up outside broadcast units, maintaining and troubleshooting broadcasting equipment, and handling site logistics and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to set up outside broadcast units for live productions
• Maintain and troubleshoot broadcasting equipment
• Handle site logistics and coordination
• Work in a flexible and fast-paced environment
• Travel to event locations to learn NEP's assembly and maintenance of mobile units

Requirements

• An associate or technical degree in Broadcast Communications, Electronics, or Engineering is preferred
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of networking basics
• Ability to travel up to 100% upon graduation from the program
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
