About the role

CCRN is seeking a Mobile Therapist(s) (Licensed or Unlicensed) - Independent Contractor to join our caring and compassionate team in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with other members of the treatment team, including Behavioral Consultant, teacher, and parent, to implement an individualized behavioral intervention plan in the context of the educational, community, or home setting.
  • Applies their clinical skills in observation of the child in the home, school, and community as part of an assessment in preparation for implementing the treatment plan. A functional behavioral analysis is a key component of this assessment.
  • Collects data on the behaviors that are addressed by the treatment plan and provides observations and data back to the treatment plan.
  • Reports all at-risk behavior or potential abuse/neglect situations to the clinical supervisor according to agency and State standards.
  • Provides detailed progress notes of each session.
  • Maintains agency notes that detail all cancellations and phone calls.
  • Appropriately uses behavioral interventions, emotional support, and other treatment interventions to achieve approved treatment goals and objectives.
  • Participates with other treatment team members in implementing goals in accordance with CCRN’s mission and values and the Pennsylvania CASSP principles.
  • Provides coaching, support, and role modeling to family members and significant others to support the therapeutic strategies.
  • Contributes to building a Culture of Quality and Safety by observations, words, and actions. Addresses imminent risk events, seeking IBHS leadership support as needed. Immediately reports all at-risk behaviors or potential abuse/ neglect situations to the Clinical Supervisor and documents it in the Client Record and CCRN Incident Report.
  • Adheres to CCRN documentation standards. Completed detailed written progress notes of each IBHS service session.
  • Ensures accurate and timely encounter forms.
  • Regularly and actively participates in regular supervision with the assigned supervisor.
  • Knows and can assess CCRN policy and protocols, including the Compliance-Ethics Plan and core elements, fraud and abuse prevention/reporting requirements, privacy/confidentiality, abuse/neglect mandating reporting, and program, licensing, and accreditation standards.
  • Participates in performance improvement initiatives as requested – gathering data, sharing in problem-solving on IBHS issues, sharing ways to improve quality care or safety for our clients or staff.
  • Participate in and complete all required trainings.

  • Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree with a least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling or a related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in behavioral health or related field of study with at least nine (9) credits specific to clinical practice, and at least one (1) year of full-time experience providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults.
  • Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency.
  • Have a graduate degree with a least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling or a related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.   • Experience working with children, youth, or young adults with behavioral health, development, or other special needs.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Skills

  • Excellent observational and assessment skills.
  • Strong clinical skills in behavioral intervention and emotional support.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in using technology for documentation and data collection.
