Responsibilities
- Promotes the dealership by presenting a professional image, a positive attitude, and a clean work area
- Road tests vehicles as needed to ensure repairs are completed properly
- Suggests additional work that is needed
- Completes service and repair assignments correctly, to pass quality inspections or test drives
- Collects all necessary information before requesting parts (e.g., model year, etc.)
- Maintains sufficient personally-owned tools; keeps tools in good working order
- Completes proper repair estimates that are accurate and explain the concern, cause, and correction (Three C’s)
- Is punctual for the work shift and works the entire shift as expected
- Informs supervisor of being late or absent
- Completes assigned Ford Training
- Completes Hazmat Training
- Performs service and repairs that are needed and approved by the customer
- Completes the assigned inspection on the vehicle
- Be licensed to legally drive
- Be insurable to drive the mobile repair vehicles
- Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License and insurable driving record
- High School degree or equivalent preferred
- Other certifications or licenses as required by state law
- Refrigerant License if performing A/C diagnosis and repair
- Ford Certification preferred
