Job Overview

Northeast Security, Inc. is a leading security services firm in New England. Weekend Security Officer positions are available based on eligibility, background screening, drug testing, and orientation completion. Applicants who complete orientation may still be rescinded if they fail background checks.

Job Skills / Requirements

Candidates must have prior security experience and a clean driving record for at least 3 years. The pay rate is $23.25 per hour, working Saturday and Sunday from 5pm to 1am. A recruiter will contact qualified candidates within 72 hours to discuss shifts and locations.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect irregularities and report incidents or suspicious activity.
• Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as needed.
• Operate mobile units to monitor exterior premises.
• Conduct foot patrols of the premises.
• Write detailed incident reports daily.
• Maintain proper use and completion of patrol-related forms.
• Respond to security and safety concerns.
• Maintain patrol vehicle maintenance, including routine and corrective maintenance, vacuuming, and car washing.
• Perform unarmed foot patrols (interior and/or exterior).
• Assist with requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate actions.
• Comply with on-site operations manual/post orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred
• Previous customer service experience or related field/education
• Neat and professional appearance
• Dependable means of transportation

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Pass all pre-employment background and drug screenings
• At least 18 years of age

Education Requirements

All candidates must have a High School Diploma.
