What You’ll Do
- The Mobile Counselor for Westfield Respite provides direct counseling and case management support to individuals served.
- The Mobile Counselor performs enrollment and disenrollment activities, develops an IAP for treatment, and aftercare planning.
- The Mobile Counselor manages a variety of behavioral interventions, activities, and referrals related to recovery goals.
- Identifies, assists, supports and communicates the needs of individuals served in the program, including use of mental status, social functioning, and level of risk.
- Interacts with significant others and area providers as needed to develop a comprehensive understanding of individuals served current situation.
- Completes necessary documentation, in clear and timely manner, including all required admission documents, comprehensive assessment, regular contact notes, incident reports, progress notes, required discharge documentation, and goal completion.
- Performs services necessary to meet recovery goals and provide for the short-term needs of individuals served.
- Makes necessary referrals to support services chosen by individuals served.
Who You Are
- BA Degree or BS in psych; BSW for social work or equivalent experience in behavioral health setting (required).
- High School diploma or GED (required).
- 2 years of experience (preferred).
- Knowledge and understanding of recovery concepts and individuals in active recovery.
- High motivation to work with a population in recovery.
Pay
$22.50/hr.
Shift
Monday-Thursday 10am-4pm or Monday-Wednesday 8am-4pm.
